Sweet Annabel {1.5 years old}

This little lady had a rough start to our day together, but who wouldn't be upset when one of your pretty balloons had just popped? She warmed up after a quick snack and some playtime, then we headed outside for some fun with the flowers! Annabel is such a adorable little sweetheart, and I'm so glad we were able to capture this moment in time for her and her awesome family.

Belle + Luci + Mommy

This photo shoot was so much fun, and we were able to do it during my favorite time of day for photos - the evening! The light is always so golden and soft, and it makes for magical images. Plus, my subjects were adorable and gorgeous, so my job was super easy!

Kooper {one year old}

I have been fortunate enough to watch this little cutie pie grow up over the last year, and he just gets cuter every time I see him! We started when he was only 11 days old (check out his newborn photos here), and he was such a little peanut! Then six quick months passed, and we had another super fun session (see his 6 month photos here). At 9 months we met again (see his 9 month photos here), and then it was already time to take his one year photos! Time sure does fly, and I've enjoyed every minute of the time I've been able to spend with little Kooper and his family.

Baby Ian {7 days new} | lifestyle newborn session

Welcome to the world, Ian Douglas!

April 3rd, 2013          6lbs. 15 oz.          19.7 inches

Ian's mommy & daddy chose his name because it is one of their favorites, but is also daddy's brother's name! His middle name, Douglas, is in honor of his paternal grandfather. This little guy's entrance into the world was much anticipated and not lacking excitement. He was born via emergency C-Section after 3 hours of pushing. He spent the first two hours of his sweet life on his mama's chest, then was rushed off to the NICU due to tachypnea and concern for infiltrates & pneumonia. It was quite surreal for mom and dad to be separated from their new bundle of joy for his first few days of life. Happily, after several days of observation in the NICU, he was healthy enough to come home to be with his big sister, Harper, and his adoring mommy and daddy. Now they are settling in as a family of four, and I was fortunate enough to be a part of it and capture some precious moments with Ian and his family. 

Baby Oliver {8 days new}

Welcome to the world, Oliver!

April 5, 2013                   8lbs 11oz                      20 inches

Oliver was nice and cozy in his mama's belly, so he stayed for the full 42 weeks. His family was so excited to meet him, they could hardly wait! Now that he's here, this adorable family is settling in and I feel so blessed to have been able to capture some memories of little Oliver at just 8 days after birth. He was such a good baby during our session and was so alert! His two older sisters simply adore him, and mom and dad just hope he can survive all their hugs and kisses! 

Congrats to the whole family! It has been so fun watching the girls grow up, and now even more exciting to welcome Oliver into the family! Thanks for letting me be a part of it. xoxo, Julie

I was so excited to post these images tonight...I have known this mama-to-be for quite a few years, and I'm so excited for this sweet family! I can't wait to meet their new little blessing, and I feel so honored that I was able to capture this beautiful time in their lives. The evening couldn't have been better for this session, and I'm so thankful to have been a part of it! What a gorgeous mama, handsome daddy, and adorable couple...
