Welcome! My name is Julie, and I am in love with capturing the beauty, romance, newness, and wonder of life. I am a kindergarten teacher turned mommy and photographer, and I know all too well that time flies... I'd love to help you slow it down a bit by capturing some precious moments in the lives of you and your family that you can cherish forever!
I specialize in lifestyle newborn and family portraiture. Throughout my photography journey, and through much experimentation and attempts at narrowing my focus, I have found that my heart is drawn toward these beautiful genres.
I love, love, LOVE shooting in the warm golden light of a sunny evening when everything is hazy and romantic, and watch out - I will probably ask you to smooch and be cuddly!

1. Before our son was born, we simply called him "Lil' Fish". We didn't find out beforehand if he was a boy or a girl, so the neutral nickname stuck. He was my first model as I started up, and I named the company in honor of him.
2. My family and I love Jesus, and the fish is a symbol of his love and provision. He took a small portion of fish and bread and provided food for thousands of people. This reassures me every single day that he will always take care of us and we shouldn't worry.
