Sweet Elle {8 days new}

Meet Elle Windsor!

July 16th, 2013                       8 lbs. 1 oz.                         20 inches

This sweet little lady was such a sleepy angel our entire shoot, and her family was incredibly awesome to work with! I truly enjoyed my afternoon with them. Here is Elle's story: 

After an evening of consistent contractions and a trip to the hospital and home again, Elle decided to come very quickly later that night. Once her mommy, daddy, and big brother Brock made it back to the hospital, there was just enough time for mommy to get settled before she had to start pushing. She was progressing too fast for an epidural, and there wasn't even enough time for her doctor to arrive! After a quick 15 minutes of pushing, their little angel was born at 2:33am!  

Her mommy and daddy chose the name Elle because of its uniqueness and feminine meaning, and for the fact that it has only one syllable like her big brother's name (Brock). Elle's middle name, Windsor, is her mommy's grandma's maiden name, and they wanted to honor their special relationship. 

Elle's mommy and daddy wish nothing but happiness for her in this life, for her to know how much she is truly loved and always will be, and for her to develop a relationship with our Heavenly Father and know His eternal love and provision.

Gia and Family

I have known Gia's parents for quite a few years now, so it was an honor to be able to take her photos at such a fun age. It was a gorgeous morning, and this little angel kept me on my toes! She is definitely a girl on the move these days, and I loved it! It made for an energetic and entertaining photo shoot . . . and the whole family is so much fun to be around, so it was a win-win! What a doll!

Emily {18 days new}

Meet Emily Kalena!

June 4th, 2013                    6lbs. 5 oz.                      19  inches

"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." 

- Galations 2:20

Emily's entrance into this world was a quick, but joyful one! She was born in under an hour, so it was quite the whirlwind! The doctor didn't even make it into the room in time, so the nurse had to deliver her. Her Mommy and Daddy were sure she was going to be a boy, so they were very surprised and excited when they learned they had a healthy baby girl! They chose the name Emily because of its classic beauty, and her middle name, Kalena, is Hawaiian and means "pure". Both Emily's big brother and sister also have Hawaiian middle names since Daddy grew up on the Big Island. As she grows up, her Mommy and Daddy hope she can begin to grasp how deeply she is loved by her Heavenly Father, and that she would become a woman who is able to pour her life out for others and do many great things to glorify the Lord because of this knowledge. What a blessing this little one is!

Sweet Lily {11 days new}

Say hello to Lily Katherine! 

June 2nd, 2013               7 lbs. 6.5 oz.                 19 inches

"Love the Lord your God with all  your heart, and with all your soul,

Lily was born on her due date just like her big sister Grace, and also weighed just about the same! After much deliberation about the perfect name for their third daughter, big sis Grace fell in love with the name Lily. Everyone agreed it was lovely, and would be such a sweet story to tell the girls that big sis chose baby sis' name.

Lily's mommy and daddy feel so blessed to have a healthy, beautiful baby girl - for the third time! When they told people they were pregnant, the common question was, "Are you hoping for a boy?" Their response: "Of course not!" They were simply hoping for a healthy baby, and that is exactly what God has blessed them with. The verse above reflects this family's hopes for their new little one as she grows, and is something they can pray for their sweet daughter the rest of her life. They feel so privileged to have been entrusted by God to be her parents, and they couldn't be happier to have three tiny princesses in their house!

Liberty {6 months old}

I absolutely loved doing this photo session for a few reasons. First, this little blessing was so long-awaited by this faithful, amazing family, and seeing her grow up healthy and happy in their arms is absolutely heart-warming and so special. Secondly, we have been friends with Liberty's mom and dad since my husband and I started dating many years ago, and have been praying that the Lord would bless them with children from day one. Now they have two adorable, amazing kiddos! Third, even though Liberty was ready for a nap, she was just the happiest little sweetheart during our entire shoot. She made my job very easy! What a little love bug...

Clara {6 months old}

This little cutie has grown so quickly! I took her newborn photos back in November (see them here) when she was just a tiny little peanut, and her 3 month photos in February (see them here). Even then she was a smiley girl, but her 6 months photos were the easiest yet! I don't think she stopped smiling the entire time, and just having her mommy around her did the trick. I didn't even have to make silly noises and faces to get her to crack a grin! All mommy had to do was talk to her, and she was all smiles. What a sweetheart, huh?!
