This little lady is one of my favorites. She is the youngest daughter of our sweet friends who are like family to us. I got to take her newborn photos (see them here), and I just love seeing how she has grown in six months! Say hello to Jovi!

Sweet Mila was born via c-section exactly 1 year, 1 week, and 1 day after her baby brother passed away unexpectedly at 12 weeks gestation. She is this family's "rainbow baby" - hope after a storm, life after tragedy, and a promise of joy amidst sadness. After losing baby brother, rainbows seemed to follow mom and dad, giving them hope in God's provision and love. On the day Mila was born, a double rainbow even appeared over the hospital!! As was the case for her big sister Avery, this little girl has been so anticipated. Her name, Milan (Mila for short), honors her daddy's Italian roots, and just like the beautiful Italian city, sweet Milan is a beautiful baby girl. I am so honored to have captured some precious moments of her first few weeks in this world, and can't wait to see her grow!!
