This sweet little angel is baby #2 for this awesome family, and is such a blessing! Her middle name Leann is very special as it is also her Grandma's middle name, who is watching over her and loving on her from Heaven. Mom and Dad would have been happy with some simple lifestyle photos of baby Kelsey being her amazing baby self, but she was so sleepy during the first part of our photo shoot that I was able to squeeze in some mini set-ups with a few props that I brought just in case. I love when that happens and we get the best of both worlds when it comes to newborns! Did I mention she has an awesome big sis who was loving the camera? :)

I'm so honored to have been able to capture some special moments in Kelsey's first few days! Thank you for the opportunity J and S! She is perfect!

These two cuties are so sweet, and I just love this family to death. Their mama and I have been friends since middle school, and now that we're both mommies it is so much fun to share in this season of life together even though she and her family live in Spain and we only get to see each other about once a year. These little blonde beauties are so stinkin' cute and smart...and when they bust out in Spanish it may be the cutest thing ever! The littlest is all about Mama these days and I know all too well that it doesn't last forever, so I was happy to snag some snuggly photos to freeze it in time for her. Hasta pronto!

Emily, Rick, & Family

This bunch of fun-loving folks are some of my faves...I have been taking pictures of Emily and her 2 daughters for years, and they always bring so much joy to each session. It never fails that we laugh the whole time! Recently I got to be an insider into Rick's wedding proposal to Emily (see it HERE), and now here is the whole crew together all in one place! I hope you can feel the love, silliness, and connection this family has. It is something special. Enjoy!

Emmett {10 months old}

This little guy holds a very dear place in my heart...because he's mine! It doesn't feel like more than a few months have passed since we brought him home, but isn't that always the way of babies? All of a sudden he's 10 months old and has so much personality! This photo shoot was also special because this is the gravel driveway where I grew up. It is quickly getting choked out by housing developments, but is still standing strong as a little piece of quiet and solitude.
