Samson is Seven! {yearly milestone photos}

Every year I take each of my children on a little mommy/kiddo date to take their yearly photos and spend a little time together one on one. Now that we are a family of 6, that special alone time is sometimes hard to come by, and I really cherish the time I get with each of them...and I think they enjoy it too. We go exploring, play at the playground, find special spots we've never been before, and just chat along the way. This time we went to a beach playground on a local lake where we've driven by and always said, "We should go there someday!" So we did. This is Samson, our 2nd son, who just turned 7. I can hardly believe it, but it is so. He is spunky, hilarious, compassionate, thoughtful, such a hard worker, and loves a good joke. We are so thankful he's ours!

Meet Jovela Grace. She is the newest addition to a family that is so dear to our hearts here in the Muchlinski household - they are like family to us. That is why I am more than honored to be a part of her first few days in this world, and to be able to freeze some moments in time for her mommy and daddy. Her name comes from the Hebrew Yovela meaning rejoice, and it fits her so well. 

She is so loved! 

The Wiley Family {lifestyle family session - Palm Springs, CA}

Meet our dear friends and travel buddies. They are like family to us, and we have this amazing tradition of going to Palm Springs together every fall to soak in the sunshine, swim all day long, play cards, and just hang out. We are so grateful that they invite us along on this adventure every year, and that our kids get to grow up together. When we first started, we had 3 kids between our two families. Now we have SIX kids altogether, and it just gets to be more fun (and chaotic) each year. The weather is beautiful there and the light during the evening hours is a dream...so what better time to take their family photos?! Love these people so much!
