Ryen is TWO!

I took our littlest one out for her 2 year old photo shoot (cleverly disguised as a trip to the park), and we found the prettiest patch of red leaves to play in. I so enjoy photographing ALL babies, but when I get to make magic happen with my OWN babies, my heart just melts even more than usual. Our little girl has such a tender, kind, inquisitive heart, and she loves making people laugh. She is compassionate, musical, so smart, and is a LIGHT to our family. We are so blessed by her every day! I'm growing to really believe the saying, "the days are long, but the years are short." I feel like she was just born! (You can see her newborn photos HERE)

Welcome to the world, Alexa "Alex" Ryan!

          October 2nd, 2015                 6 lbs.  6 oz.        

Baby Alex's arrival was especially exciting for this sweet family because after years of fertility treatments to conceive their 3 oldest children, they were told they would never get pregnant naturally.  Alexa proved everyone wrong, and she was the best surprise they could hope for!  

Alexa's mommy and daddy had a tough time deciding on a first name for her, but knew they wanted something short that started with an 'A'. After seeing Alex Morgan (the soccer player) all over TV, that settled it for them! All of their children's middle names are the first names of relatives, and Alexa was given the middle name 'Ryan' after her uncle. 

K & P - Thank you so much for allowing me to freeze these small moments in time for you, and for inviting me to be a part of such a magical time! Your family couldn't be sweeter or more beautiful, and I'm so happy for you! xoxo, Julie 

 

 

Kimberley + Dylan + Lady

I get to work with the sweetest people. These lovebirds just celebrated their 1 year anniversary, and they wanted to capture some memories with their precious little dog, Lady. We found a sunny evening, a field, and the rest was magic. Lady wasn't really in the mood to be a model, but we coaxed her out of her shell eventually. The sheer amount of cuteness between K and D  made up for it 100 fold, and I am so in love with how these turned out for them.

Sunset Sessions

This year I was so excited to offer Sunset Mini Sessions again for couples! The summer light is so warm and romantic, and it was so much fun! This sweet couple absolutely rocked it! Aren't they stunning? I can't wait until next summer to do it all again....
