Newborn favorites

 Welcome to the world, little ones! 

It has been a whirlwind of a year and I am the WORST at keeping up with the blog posts. But here are a few highlights from my last few newborn sessions. And they are full of cuteness, be ready!

Sisters!

Oh man, I love these girls. I have had the honor of taking their pictures when they come to the USA from Spain once a year to visit. We had to skip last year due to the obvious, so I was very excited to be able to snap some photos this year. Oh, and their mama happens to be one of my longest standing BFFs dating back to the glory days of middle school. :) So much joy in these faces. 

Summertime Multi-Generational Family Sessions

I have had an unprecedented number of inquiries for photo sessions involving extended families, and I love it more than I thought I would. They have meaning. They celebrate life, surviving, being together again after a long season of uncertainty and restrictions surrounding those most loved, and they just celebrate the love of FAMILY. I can't resist doing sessions that hold deep meaning for the people involved, and maybe that's why I've had such a great time documenting families just being together once again in freedom. More to come, but here are 2 sessions from earlier this summer of some truly fantastic people.

This sweet little lady was born on her mommy's birthday - the best birthday gift ever! Ashtyn got her name from the place where her mommy and daddy fell in love, and shares a middle name (and birthday!) with her mommy's twin brother! Daddy even guessed her exact birthdate, timeframe, and other stats in a family guessing pool, so you could say she's one special little peanut who has been much anticipated! You are so loved Ashtyn!!

Thank you for giving me the honor of freezing these very special moments in time for your family. It was so much fun, and I'm so happy for you guys!
